The Blue Mountains Women’s Health & Resource Centre is committed to the vision of contributing to create a community where women, regardless of their social and cultural background, age and sexual orientation, will have knowledge and control over their bodies and their lives, living freely and safely, with access to the support they need to enhance their health and well-being.

 

​Our members help shape the Centre’s future by having the opportunity to contribute their feedback and knowledge to the Centre and community we support, and by electing Management Committee members and participating in the Annual General Meeting each year. ​

 

Founded in 1981, the Blue Mountains Women’s Health & Resource Centre is a well-established and highly regarded service run by women for women. The Centre continues to deliver affordable, holistic, and multidisciplinary services, which aim to empower, support, and give agency to women in the Blue Mountains and Lithgow area.​

 

Becoming a member is also a great way to show your support for the centre and the women in the community.
